Dehradun: PM Narendra Modi arrives to address an election rally at NIT Uttarakhand ground in Srinagar. Here he first started his address at Garhwali. The Prime Minister said that even after being in the fray, I came to Devbhoomi in the east. I wanted to put my forehead on the mother of Devbhoomi. Baba Kedar called me and I came straight here. "I bow to the land of heroes like Veerangana Tillu Rauteli, Panthya Dada, Madho Singh Bhandari.'' The PM said that the BJP's Sankalp Patra will develop Uttarakhand. Yesterday, Uttarakhand BJP has released its Sankalp Patra. This Sankalp Patra will play a big role in making this decade the decade of Uttarakhand. In this, new resolutions have been taken for the development of Uttarakhand, for the youth, women, farmers, all of them.

At the same time, the PM said that when intentions are true, Baba Kedarnath and Badrinath Ji fulfil the desire. With his blessings, the Election Commission also gave me the privilege of coming among you and having darshan of you. The Prime Minister said that the people of Uttarakhand have always protected the country like vigilant sentinels.

"Today, the memories of such a brave son of Pauri Garhwal, General Bipin Rawat Ji, are making me emotional. He showed India that the people of Uttarakhand not only have the courage like a mountain but also have high thinking like the Himalayas.'' The Prime Minister attacked the Congress, saying that the people of Uttarakhand can never forget. What has been the behaviour of these people about the army? They have been questioning the military. I also have a deep problem in my mind. I have to mention this also because the Congress party was once used to insult General Bipin Rawatji by calling him a street goon. Today, in their campaign, they are asking for votes by putting up his cut-out, his picture. One can go to such extent for the chair, I can't believe it.
