Indore: PM Narendra Modi has reached the city on Monday (January 9) to attend the 17th edition of most ambitious event Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (Non-Residence in India Day). The event was organized in the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore. Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan has started in Indore from January 8 in Indore. The five days event will be graced by various big political personalities and Business personalities.

In view of the conference, Indore has been specially decorated to welcome the NRIs. PM Modi was to reach Indore by a special flight at 9.45 am today to attend the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan, but due to high fog in Delhi, his plane could not take off and he reached 1 hour late. There are 3200 NRIs from 70 countries are participating in the conference organized at the Brilliant Convention Center.

All the NRIs participated in the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan have reached the venue. During his foreign tour, PM Modi had invited NRIs and others to visit Indore. The Global Investors Summit will be organized immediately after the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan from January 11, both the events will be held from January 8 to 12.

PM Modi has reached Indore's Brilliant Convention Center in the morning as per his schedule. Guyana here. After receiving Irfan Ali and Suriname President Chandrika Prasad Santokhi, PM Modi will launch a digital exhibition on the contribution of overseas Indians in the freedom struggle. Along with this, PM Modi will also issue a special postage stamp on the theme 'Go Safe, Go Trained'. As per reports, PM Modi will stay here for about 4 hours.
