The Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Textiles are jointly organizing this fair with the aim of making the country an international hub of toy manufacturing under the 'Vocal for Local' in the Self-Reliant India Campaign whereas till now 10 lakhs have registered.

Students will create toys, designs, and techniques for games and education, etc. through this competition. In this, the winners will also be given a prize of Rs 50 lakhs. Under the new education policy (NEP), students from class VI will be able to work in it by undertaking internships with small personnel, including skill development. Under self-reliant India, Indian students will now strengthen the Indian market in the international toy market with their thinking, skills, and technology. In this, policymakers, parents, startups, students, industry, etc. will all have to work together on one platform. In this, the state and central government will work together.

There is a toy market of 1.5 billion dollars in India and out of this 80 percent of toys come from abroad. In such a situation, for the first time, efforts are being made to strengthen the economy of the country by taking school children and college students together with toys. This will promote innovation.
