New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Supreme Court of India's Diamond Jubilee celebration tomorrow at noon on the court premises.

To mark the 75th year of the Supreme Court, the Prime Minister will introduce citizen-centric technology initiatives. These include Digital Supreme Court Reports (Digi SCR), Digital Courts 2.0, and a revamped Supreme Court website, as per a statement from the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday.

During the event, PM Modi will also address the attendees.

The Digital Supreme Court Reports (SCR) initiative will provide citizens with free access to Supreme Court judgments in electronic format. Notably, this includes all 519 volumes of Supreme Court reports since 1950, covering 36,308 cases. The digital format will be user-friendly, bookmarked, and freely accessible.

Digital Courts 2.0 is a recent addition to the e-Courts project. It aims to digitize court records for district court judges, using artificial intelligence (AI) for real-time speech-to-text transcription.

The Prime Minster will also l launch the Supreme Court's new bilingual website in English and Hindi. The website has been redesigned with a more user-friendly interface.

PM Modi is also to host Pariksha Pe Charcha on January 29 

The 7th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' is also set to take place in a town hall format on January 29 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi at 11 am. Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where PM Modi engages with students, teachers, and parents from all over the country and abroad. It's a key component of the PM's initiative to promote a stress-free environment for youth. The movement seeks to nurture a culture that celebrates and supports the distinct individuality of every child.
