In the lead-up to the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a whopping 14,000 projects valued at more than Rs. 10 lakh crore in Uttar Pradesh. This initiative will be kickstarted through a Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 4.0) on Monday. Uttar Pradesh, a state with a significant stake of 80 Lok Sabha seats, is gearing up for the Global Investors Summit scheduled from February 19 to 21 at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. The state government, in the presence of PM Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will host the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC) 4.0 on Monday.

The Prime Minister's Office has announced that PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, at 10:30 am on Monday.
PM Modi will also unveil the model of the Shri Kalki Dham Temple, which has been constructed by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, chaired by Acharya Pramod Krishnam. The event will witness the presence of numerous saints, religious leaders, and other dignitaries.
In the afternoon, around 1:45 pm, PM Narendra Modi will launch a staggering 14,000 projects across Uttar Pradesh, valued at more than Rs. 10 Lakh crore. These projects stem from investment proposals received during the UP Global Investors Summit 2023 (UPGIS 2023) held in February 2023.
Through the Ground Breaking Ceremony, a total of 14,537 projects, with an investment of Rs. 10 lakh, 15 thousand, and 583 crores, are fully prepared for implementation in the state. This includes a diverse range of projects, from 300 big-ticket investments worth Rs. 500 crores to 8,735 smaller initiatives valued between Rs. 1 to 10 crores. These projects are expected to generate over 34 lakh jobs, as per the Chief Minister's Office of Uttar Pradesh.
The event is anticipated to host approximately 5,000 participants, including industrialists, representatives from top global and Indian firms, ambassadors, high commissioners, and other distinguished guests.
During last year's UPGIS held from 10-12 February, Uttar Pradesh received investment proposals totaling a staggering Rs. 40 lakh crore.
The UP Global Investors Summit will also feature sectoral sessions focusing on crucial areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), foreign direct investment (FDI), and corporate social responsibility (CSR). These sessions will allow direct interaction with CSR heads of corporations, providing insights into impactful initiatives and opportunities for supporting charitable causes.
Mayur Maheshwari, CEO of UPSIDA, revealed that the authority has drawn up nearly Rs. 1.5 lakh crore worth of MoUs for the Ground Breaking Ceremony 4.0 (GBC) across more than 45 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Around 3,500 units are expected to establish their industries, with an investment of Rs. 6,660 crore in various industrial sectors in Mathura.
Bulandshahr is projected to receive an investment of Rs. 3,915 crore, Amethi Rs. 1,693 crore, Meerut Rs. 1,455 crore, Gautam Buddh Nagar Rs. 1,129 crore, and Aligarh Rs. 213 crore, according to the CEO.
