New Delhi: Oxygen scarcity problem has arisen in hospitals of many big cities in the country due to increasing cases of the corona. However, the state and central governments are trying to do this. Many states have sought help from PM Modi for oxygen used for health facilities. Now the news is coming that PM Modi has held a high-level review meeting about this.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has said that "PM Modi held a comprehensive review meeting to ensure adequate medical grade oxygen supply in the country". Inputs from ministries like Health, DPIIT, Steel, Road Transport have also been shared with PM Modi. He has emphasized that it is important that a normal between the ministry and the state government be ensured. PM Modi estimated the current use of oxygen in the next 15 days and the current state of oxygen supply in the 12 states most affected by the coronavirus infection.

An official said that PM Modi has been informed about the production capacity of medical oxygen to meet the increasing demand. PM Modi suggested increasing the oxygen production according to the capacity of each plant. During the review, PM Modi asked the officials to ensure uninterrupted movement of oxygen carrying tankers across the country.
