The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the government have outlined a series of special initiatives to commemorate the 73rd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat.

As per the Press Trust of India (PTI), the BJP's Tripura unit has devised an ingenious strategy to leverage the occasion, ramping up their campaign efforts ahead of the impending Lok Sabha elections scheduled for the next year. This multifaceted celebration has been aptly christened 'Namo Vikas Utsav,' and a plethora of programs is scheduled for the day, according to BJP MLA Bhagaban Das.

The day's festivities will kick off with an invigorating yoga session at the Kumarghat PWD Ground, graced by the presence of Chief Minister Manik Saha, his cabinet colleagues, and eminent party leaders from both Delhi and Tripura.

Coinciding with PM Modi's 73rd birthday, 73 priority households will be granted PG ration cards, 73 copies of the Bhagavad Gita will be distributed amongst students, and 73 individuals with disabilities will receive much-needed assistance during the event, as per Das.

Meanwhile, CR Paatil, the Gujarat BJP president, has announced a commendable initiative to establish bank accounts for 30,000 schoolgirls in Navsari district. Additionally, the BJP Yuva Morcha has pledged to hold blood donation drives across all districts in Gujarat.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has unveiled plans to launch a comprehensive campaign aimed at ensuring the effective delivery of healthcare schemes to every deserving beneficiary, including those in the most remote areas. Although the 'Ayushman Bhava' campaign is slated for a September 13 launch, it will be formally introduced during the 'Seva Pakhwada,' which commences on PM Modi's birthday, September 17. This fortnight-long initiative is designed to bolster healthcare accessibility and raise awareness, running until October 2, as confirmed by Mandaviya.

Reflecting on last year's initiatives, Mandaviya noted that on PM Modi's birthday, the government had focused its efforts on combatting tuberculosis.

In yet another demonstration of their commitment to celebrating the occasion, BJP's OBC Morcha has announced a nationwide bike rally on September 17.

K Laxman, the president of BJP's OBC Morcha, conveyed their plans to organize this rally in every Mandal (circle) of the party throughout the country.

As a prelude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, a remarkable tribute is already taking shape in Pune. A diligent BJP worker has crafted an impressive 10x18 feet portrait of PM Modi using a staggering 60 kg of grains, including wheat, lentils, and millets such as Jawar and Raagi. This extraordinary artwork will be exhibited at the Budhwar Peth area of Pune city in Kalika Mata Mandir Bhavan from September 16 to September 18, free for all to admire. The portrait, a product of 18 hours of labor, was painstakingly assembled by artist Ganesh Khare and his dedicated team, utilizing a variety of grains including wheat, til, masoor daal, hari moong daal, jawar raagi, toor daal, and sarso.

Prime Minister Modi's 73rd birthday celebration promises to be a heartful tribute filled with diverse activities and initiatives to honor his significant contributions to the nation.
