New Delhi: PM Modi took many important decisions on the first day of his second term. All these decisions are beneficial for theArmy and farmers. In the first decision taken in the government's first cabinet meeting, a major change has been approved in the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme.

PM Modi tweeted, "Our government's first decision is dedicated to protecting India." At the same time, the Cabinet approved the proposal to all the 14.5 crore farmers to get the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Yojana on Friday. At the same time, in the first meeting of the Union Cabinet, the pension scheme for shoppers, retailers and self-employed businessmen was flagged off on Friday.

Important decisions


Major changes were approved in the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme under National Defense Fund. There is a provision to provide increased scholarship to the children of policemen who were martyred in terror or nascent attack. Scholarship rates have been increased from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 for boys and Rs 2,250 for girls for Rs 3,000 every month.

Under the pension scheme, retailers and shopkeepers will be given monthly pension of Rs 3,000 after the age of 60 years.

The Government has also approved the Prime Minister Farmer Pension Scheme. Under this, small and marginal farmers will get fixed pension of Rs 3,000 after the age of 60 years.
