New Delhi: PM Modi attended the convocation of Vishwa Bharati University on Friday in a digital manner. Please tell that PM Modi is also the Chancellor of this university located in Birbhum district of West Bengal. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' and West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar also attended the convocation. This convocation began at Amar Kunj in the Shanti Niketan campus at 9.30 am.

In his address during this time, PM Modi said that taking part in this convocation is inspiring and delightful. It would have been nice if I personally came to attend the function today, but due to the new rules, I am participating in this program through video conferencing. PM Modi said, 'To be a part of the wonderful heritage that Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore has given to Mother Bharati, to join all your colleagues, is also inspiring and enjoyable for me.'

PM Modi further said that 'I have got this opportunity for the second time at intervals of some time. On this important occasion of your life, I congratulate all the young comrades, parents, and gurus, and many congratulations and many best wishes.' PM Modi further said, 'You are not only a part of a university but also a part of a vibrant tradition. If Gurudev wanted to see Visva-Bharati as only a university, he could have given it a Global University or some other name, but he named it Visva-Bharati University.'
