New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attended the inaugural session of the first All India District Legal Services Authority meeting. Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana and Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju were also present on the occasion. During this, PM Modi said, "This is the time of the Amritkal of our freedom. It is time for those resolutions that will take the country to new heights in the coming 25 years. In this Amrit yatra of the country, the ease of doing business and ease of getting justice is equally necessary like the ease of getting justice in life.''
PM Modi said, "As much as it is necessary for any society to have access to the justice system, the justice delivery system is equally necessary. An important contribution to this is also the judicial infrastructure. In the last eight years, work has been done at a rapid pace to strengthen the judicial infrastructure of the country.'' He further said "In this Amrit yatra of the country, just like Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living, Ease of Justice' is also necessary.'' PM Modi told the lawyers and judges, "You are all known and knowledgeable about the Constitution here. Article 39A of our Constitution, which comes under the Directive Principles of State Policy, has given a lot of priority to legal aid.''
PM Modi said, "This assurance of justice makes every countryman realize that the country's systems are protecting his rights. With this idea, the country also established the National Legal Service Authority. So that even the weakest person can get the right to justice." He said ''As much as it is necessary for any society to have access to the judicial system, justice delivery is as essential. Judicial infrastructure also plays a significant role in this. In the last eight years, a lot of work has been done to strengthen the country's judicial infrastructure.''
