New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi and Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani will meet each other through virtual summit today i.e. Tuesday afternoon. According to sources, the contract between the two countries could be signed for the US $ 286 million Shahtoot Dam Project. According to sources, in this meeting, the strategy to deal with terrorism between the two countries will also be discussed.

There is a problem of water in Kabul, Afghanistan. In such a situation, this contract will be very helpful for the population of 2 million people here. With the increase in population in Kabul, the source of water has decreased, due to which people here are facing the problem of drinking water. This will be the second time when India will help in making Afghanistan a dam. Earlier, India also sought cooperation from Afghanistan in making Salma Dam.

Apart from the top leaders of both countries, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and his Afghan counterpart Mohammad Hanif Atmar will also be present. India has recently given Afghanistan a developed corona vaccine in India. Afghanistan is the 18th country to receive the Made in India vaccine. Afghan Foreign Minister Atmar had tweeted about the vaccine.
