New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated a new Urban India Urban Landscape Transformation Conference and Exhibition organized under the Amrut Mahotsav to mark the 75th year of Independence at Indira Gandhi Foundation in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi announced the establishment of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Peeth at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow.

PM Modi said Lucknow has given a visionary as Atalji, a national hero dedicated to Mother Bharati to India. He announced that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bench is being set up at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in his memory today. Pm Modi tweeted a video in honour of Atalji and wrote that the newly established Chair in honour of Atalji at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a great opportunity to work on Atalji's pioneering contribution in important fields like national development and foreign policy.

 

 

PM Modi had arrived in Lucknow to attend the Amrut Mahotsav programme. He visited the New Urban India Conclave. The Conference-cum-Expo is being organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs from 5th to 7th October as part of the Amrut Mahotsav of Independence. The theme of this expo is "Change in Urban Landscape" and is primarily based on the remarkable changes that have taken place in Uttar Pradesh.
