The meeting takes place at a time when Opposition leaders are wearing black bands to protest the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha members.
On Wednesday, December 1, the Prime Minister held a meeting in Parliament to discuss the strategy. The Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 was passed by both Houses of Parliament on the first day of the session. The opposition parties, on the other hand, raised a commotion, claiming that the administration approved the Bill without a floor debate.
Meanwhile, opposition party leaders wore black bands to protest the suspension of 12 Rajya Sabha MPs at the Gandhi statue in Parliament on Thursday. The rally was also attended by Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, and KC Venugopal. MPs from the opposition held placards and posters that said "Save India" and "BJP Kills Democracy."
