New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Jair Messias Bolsonaro on Saturday held a wide-ranging discussion on different issues aimed at giving a new impetus to bilateral relations between India and Brazil and the two countries discussed agriculture, food processing, bio-energy, science 15 agreements in many areas including Technology and Mining, Cultural Exchange, Health, Women and Child Development, Social Security Signed on the issues.

There were extensive discussions between PM Modi and Brazilian President Bolsonaro on various aspects of the relationship, focusing on promoting bilateral relations in key areas of trade and investment, energy, defense and security, medicine and scientific research. After speaking to Bolsonaro, PM Modi said, 'We have agreed to further strengthen the relationship between India and Brazil. We are focusing on new ways to enhance defense industrial cooperation and in defense cooperation, we want broad-based cooperation. '

He said, 'To further strengthen our strategic partnership, we have prepared a comprehensive action plan. The year 2023 will be the year of the platinum jubilee of diplomatic relations between the two nations. PM Modi said that India and Brazil will move forward with cooperation and momentum in diverse fields such as bio-energy, livestock genetics, health, traditional medicine, cyber security, science and technology, oil and gas and culture.
