Vatican City: PM Narendra Modi has arrived in Vatican City on his visit to Italy. He is meeting Pope Francis, the Supreme Leader of Christians around the world. In it, they are discussing a number of issues such as establishing peace in the world, enhancing social harmony among different religions. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and National Defence Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval are also present on the visit. PM Modi is said to be inviting Pope Francis to visit India.

 

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla had informed that PM Modi will meet separately on Friday. The PM will meet the Most Respected Pope in person before and shortly thereafter there will be delegation-level talks. Shringla said the Vatican has not set any agenda for the talks. This time the 16th G-20 Summit is being held in Italy. The conference is scheduled to discuss bringing the global economy and health sector affected by the global epidemic Coronavirus back on track.

PM Narendra Modi has arrived in Italy to attend the conference. PM Modi is scheduled to meet heads of government of several countries today on Saturday. He will meet with the presidents of France and Indonesia. Will also meet Singapore's PM. He will then attend a dinner hosted by the Italian PM for all heads of government.
