PM Modi receives UAE's highest civilian honour, now departs for Bahrain

Abu Dhabi: After concluding PM Modi's one-day visit to the UAE, he left for Bahrain on Saturday. Prime Minister Modi is currently on a three-nation tour. At Abu Dhabi airport, Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived to bid farewell to him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Bahrain for two days. After his visit to Bahrain, PM Modi will visit France.

Earlier, PM Modi arrived in Abu Dhabi on Friday. On Saturday, he was also honoured with the UAE's Highest Civil Honor Order of Zayed. PM Modi launched the RuPay card in the UAE on Saturday and bought one kilo of Ladoos using the card. The card will be the same as master card or visa card. India's Ambassador to the UAE Navdeep Singh Suri announced during the launch of the card at the Emirates Palace that the UAE was the first country in the Middle East to introduce the RuPay card.

The card will be accepted at several major commercial establishments and shops in the UAE from next week. Using his RuPay card, PM Modi bought Ladoos from Abu Dhabi outlets.
