'Ayushman Bharat is world's biggest health scheme': PM Modi in UN

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is addressing the United Nations (UN). PM Modi is giving this address at a program organized in New York on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. This is PM Modi's first address after he was elected a temporary member of the UN Security Council.

In his virtual address, the Prime Minister said that we have brought food security for everyone. 830 million citizens have benefited from our food security scheme. Through the PM Awas Yojana, every Indian will have home. The world has changed after the second world war. India is advancing in every field. We are making every effort to empower our women. In the last 6 years, we have opened 40 crore bank accounts for the direct binificatory program. Direct money to the needy people account.

PM Modi said, "We are striving to fulfill Agenda 2030. We are helping the developing countries. Our aim is everyone's support, everybody's development and everybody's trust." PM Modi further said that we have built houses for the poor. We started the Ayushman scheme for the treatment of the poor. Ayushman Bharat is the world's largest health plan. In five years we reduced 38 million carbon emissions. Campaign for single use plastic ban.
