New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi lashed out at the opposition during a BJP parliamentary party meeting. He asked BJP MPs to place before the public the truth and facts about the government's work so that the opposition could not spread lies. In a BJP parliamentary party meeting, PM Modi urged MPs to keep people aware of the truth to defeat the lies propagated by the opposition, especially the Congress.
PM Modi expressed concern over the congress' sense of authority, which is also preventing him from playing his role as an opposition. PM Modi said Congress is not worried about its voter base and still has a sense of right that it has ruled the country for 60 years. Congress is not able to digest the fact that the people have elected the BJP.
PM Modi further said that even after his fate in the West Bengal, Assam elections, he is not discharging his responsibility as opposition. PM Modi said that as the opposition, Congress should strongly raise the issues of welfare of the people which they are not doing. Talking about today's parliamentary party meeting, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that PM Modi has expressed concern over the opposition's attitude.
