PM spoke to district magistrates; 'Need to pay more attention to villages'

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is once again convened a high-level meeting to discuss the situation in corona across the country. PM Modi said the highest attention needs to be paid to villages. The villages have to be protected from infection at all costs. He said the presence of the administration changes the minds of the villagers. People have courage. Many social organizations are also involved in it in a big way.  In the meantime, the responsibility of the district authorities has increased.

In his message, PM Modi said that active cases in the country have definitely come down but concerns have not subsided. These infections are constantly changing their appearance, and continuous changes are also necessary in dealing with the epidemic. The challenges of the districts are considerable, so the solutions should be the same. Talking to district magistrates, PM Modi said that in this crisis, it is necessary to save lives as well as to keep life easier. The poor should continue to be helped. At the same time, black marketing of medicines and equipment was curbed. PmlM Modi said that 'Such an epidemic had not occurred in the history of 100 years, but I am sure you will be able to conquer the transition through concrete strategy and good planning on all district magistrates'.

State that the meeting is attended by CM of 10 States and 54 District Collectors of those States. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has attended pm Modi's high level meeting for the first time. Mamata Banerjee did not attend any meeting convened by PM Modi in the second wave of corona.
