PM Modi talks to King Salman of Saudi Arabia, discusses global issues

New Delhi: The global pandemic coronavirus continues to wreak havoc all over the world. PM Narendra Modi spoke with Saudi Arabia's Sultan Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud on Wednesday, and the two leaders discussed the global challenges arising out of the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to information received from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), during the telephonic talks, PM Modi praised Saudi Arabia for leading the G-20 countries ' meeting and giving efficient leadership. PM Modi thanked Sultan Salman for helping overseas Indians during the Corona pandemic". The statement states "The two leaders have agreed that the initiative at the level of G-20 countries helped in promoting a coordinated response against the Corona pandemic".

According to the PRIME Minister's office, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the bilateral relations between India and Saudi Arabia and committed to further strengthen cooperation in all spheres. In the meantime, PM Modi has wished Sultan Salman, other members of the royal family and the citizens of Saudi Arabia good health".
