New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Indian portion of the 'Kartarpur Corridor' on 8 November. A day after this, its part of the Kartarpur Corridor will be inaugurated in Pakistan on 9 November. Online registrations for Indian pilgrims for the holy Sikh Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan are starting today.

The Modi government has issued a special form for the Kartarpur visit. This form can be filled online. Visa will not be mandatory for Kartarpur Sahib Darshan, just having a passport will suffice. Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI) President Govind Mohan said that, "The 4.2 km long corridor will be constructed by 31 October, a week before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism." He said that devotees will have to visit Kartarpur Sahib and return the same day.

Let us tell you that Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara is located in Narowal district of Punjab province of Pakistan, which is located 4.5 kilometers from the border near Dera Baba Nanak. This Gurudwara is a very sacred place for Sikhs, because Guru Nanak Dev of Sikhs spent 18 years of his life and his last time here too.
