New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced to recruit 10 lakh people in central government departments. Now the implementation of this is going to start from Dhanteras. On this occasion, PM Modi is going to hand over appointment letters to 75,000 new employees. According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), PM Modi will also address the employees on the occasion. In June itself, PM Modi announced that 10 lakh people will be recruited for central government jobs in the coming one and a half years. This means that this recruitment drive will be completed before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Official sources said the maximum recruitment is in the Defence Ministry. There are 2.5 lakh vacancies here. Along with this, 2.9 lakh posts are to be filled in railways. At the same time, 1.2 lakh vacant posts in the C category are to be recruited in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Of these 10 lakh jobs, a total of 23,000 posts are of gazetted officers. Along with this, 26 thousand are from Group B. At the same time, 92,000 posts in the non-gazetted B category are also vacant. The highest number of 8.4 lakh posts are in group C, whose recruitment is going to provide employment to a large number of people.

Efforts have been intensified by all central government departments for these recruitments. In the first round, a total of 38 departments are going to get 75 thousand of new employees. The recruitment process for a total of 10 lakh posts is to be completed through UPSC, SSC, Railway Recruitment Board and other institutions. These posts range from clerks, income tax officers, and constables to officers in central security forces. Let us know that the Modi government has been accused of not removing recruitment. In such a situation, the government will try to surpass all such allegations by giving 10 lakh jobs before the Lok Sabha elections.
