New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will interact with Beneficiaries of PM Nidhi yojan on Tuesday through video conferencing. Cm Yogi Adityanath will also be present at the event with PM Modi. PM Narendra Modi will also talk to two such street vendors in up capital Lucknow. One of them is Vijay, who operates a cart of Bhelpuri in the Chowk area of Lucknow.
Street vendor Vijay clearly says that he is happy today because he had to sell home jewellery in lockdown, but the scheme helped him get 10,000 financial assistance. It also helped to resume your business. The Lucknow Municipal Corporation has given benefits to about 15,000 street vendors under the PM's Self Fund scheme.
The municipal corporation has so far received applications from about 40,000 such contractors. Out of which 15,000 street vendors have been given loans. Lucknow Municipal Corporation Municipal Commissioner Ajay Dwivedi says all loans have been disbursed only after verification. Today, the Municipal Corporation of Lucknow is also working to honour more than 50 shopkeepers.
