Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kashi on February 19 and inaugurate many projects worth over Rs 2,000 crore there. PM may also address a rally during his visit.

CM Yogi Adityanath inspected Kashi Vishwanath corridor, Cancer hospital at Banaras Hindu University and City Command Control Center that are likely to be inaugurated by the PM.

UP CM  said that Kashi will create another identity for itself as a medical hub in the world. He further said that around 20 crore people from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Nepal will get the benefit of the health facilities available in Kashi.

Adityanath informed that two cancer institutes and their super speciality and medical institutes are in the pipeline. He also stated that drinking water and dairies dedicated to farmers will also be inaugurated soon.

Last year in December 2018,  Prime Minister last visited his Lok Sabha constituency when he dedicated two projects- International Rice Research Institute and South Asia Regional Centre on the campus of National Seed Research and Training Centre to the nation. He had also attended the 'One District, One Product' Regional Summit at Deendayal Hastakala Sankul.
