NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to embark on a visit to Madhya Pradesh on  Saturday, August 12th. During this visit, he will be inaugurating and dedicating various significant projects in the state.

Commencing at approximately 2:15 PM, PM Modi will arrive in the Sagar district, where he is set to conduct the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony at the Sant Shiromani Gurudev Shri Ravidas ji Memorial Sthal. Following this, at around 3:15 PM, the Prime Minister will engage in a public event in Dhana. Here, he will lay the foundation stone for the Sant Shiromani Gurudev Shri Ravidas ji Memorial, as outlined in a release by the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday.

The Prime Minister's dedication to honoring prominent saints and social reformers is reflected in the establishment of the Sant Shiromani Gurudev Shri Ravidas ji Memorial. This project, encompasses an expansive area of over 11.25 acres and costing upwards of Rs. 100 crores, is a testament to his vision.

The memorial will be a grand structure featuring an impressive art museum and gallery. These spaces will serve as a platform to exhibit the life, philosophy, and teachings of Sant Shiromani Gurudev Shri Ravidas ji. Additionally, the facility will cater to devotees visiting the memorial, providing amenities such as Bhakt Niwas and Bhojanalay.

Among the significant unveilings during the event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate railway and road sector projects with a combined value exceeding Rs. 4,000 crores. A noteworthy project to be dedicated is the completion of the doubling of the Kota-Bina rail route. This endeavor, requiring an estimated investment of more than Rs. 2475 crores, traverses through Rajasthan's Kota and Baran districts and Madhya Pradesh's Guna, Ashoknagar, and Sagar districts. The newly added rail line will enhance capacity, promoting smoother mobility and increased train speeds along the route.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stones for two road projects with a collective worth surpassing Rs. 1580 crores. These initiatives encompass a four-lane road connecting Morikori, Vidisha, and Hinotiya, along with a road linking Hinotiya to Mehluwa.

It's worth noting that the state is gearing up for Assembly polls later this year.
