New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for a 3-day visit to Thailand. In Thailand, PM Narendra Modi will attend ASEAN - India, East Asia and RCEP conferences. PM Modi will be in Thailand till 4 November. Thailand's PM Prayut Chan-o-cha has invited PM Modi to visit Bangkok.

During his visit, PM Modi will also release a commemorative coin on the occasion of the 550th light festival of Guru Nanak Dev. Along with this, he will also address the people of the Indian community living in Thailand. PM Modi will also release a Thai translation of the Tamil classic Tirukkural. PM Modi will co-chair the 16th ASEAN-India Summit on November 3 with Thailand's Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

During his visit, PM Modi will attend several other related events including 16th ASEAN-India Conference, 14th ASEAN Asia Conference and 3rd Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Conference. Negotiations are underway to resolve pending issues related to RCEP in Bangkok. In fact, all eyes are on the RCEP trade deal before the ASEAN conference in Nanthaburi. It is being told that if it is successful in finalizing this agreement, then the world's largest free trade area will be made.
