New Delhi: The global epidemic caused by Corona virus has caused a furore all over the world. Many countries of the world have been completely locked down to deal with the corona virus crisis. At the same time, 21 days lockdown is applicable due to corona in India. Meanwhile, today one of the most important festivals of Christianity in the country and the world is celebrating Easter.

On the occasion of Easter, PM Narendra Modi has also greeted the countrymen. PM Modi wrote, "Best wishes to everyone on the special occasion of Easter. We remember the noble thoughts of Lord Christ, especially his unwavering commitment to empowering the poor and needy. May this Easter give us added strength to successfully overcome COVID-19 and create a healthier planet."

The first week of Easter feast is called Easter week. During this time, people of Christianity pray, and keep fast. All the churches are specially decorated on Easter festival. On this day, candles are lit in the church. Many people who believe in Christianity also light their houses on this day with candles. The Bible is read exclusively on Easter Day. However, religious places in the country are also closed due to the lockdown.
