Maharashtra: There is bad news for accused of thousands of crores of bank fraud case, Nirav Modi. His sister Purvi Modi and her husband Miyank Mehta have now become official witnesses. After losing thousands of crores of rupees to the state exchequer, Nirav Modi, who built a black earning empire, is no longer an escape. Nirav Modi's sister Purvi Modi has revealed about his brother's black money in the court.

It is being told that in the PMLA special court of ED in Mumbai, Purvi Modi and her husband Miyank Mehta have apologized by applying. Both also expressed their desire to become government witnesses. It is being said that Purvi and her husband have also made a statement of the black money of Nirav Modi before the court and the Central Investigation Agency. In their statement, both have said, 'Nirav Modi has taken property worth around Rs 579 crore in his name in the country and abroad. Not only this, he has also taken a flat of Rs 19.5 crore in Breach Candy, Mumbai.

In New York, Purvi has revealed bank accounts in the name of trust of Rs 36.5 crore in New York and a trust of Rs 182.82 crore in Central Park South New York, depositing Rs 108.23 crore. A Rs 62 crore flat in London was deposited in the name of Purvi and Rs 1.96 crore was deposited in Syndicate Bank in Mumbai. Simultaneously, in her statement, Nirav Modi's sister Purvi and her husband Miyank have also clearly stated, 'All the companies, assets and accounts mentioned in the prosecution complaints (except Pavilion Point Corporation) belong to Nirav Modi. '
