Poco M4 Pro 5G has cleared multiple certifications; India launch also planned for This Month

Poco released the M3 Pro 5G a few months ago as a low-cost alternative with 5G network compatibility for the general public. Poco has recently begun working on its successor, the Poco M4 Pro 5G. The gadget has been certified by a number of mobile rules, indicating that the business is planning to release it shortly. But, like the previous generation models, are we looking at another rebadged smartphone? Let's have a look.

On Twitter, tipster Kacper Skrzypek revealed the certification data for the Poco M4 Pro 5G. Separately, Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed information about an upcoming Poco smartphone (perhaps the Poco M4 Pro 5).

Three Chinese governing agencies, including TENAA, EEC, and 3C, are claimed to have approved the Poco M4 Pro 5G. These platforms have certified the gadget with the model number 21091116AC. With the 21091116AG model number, the handset has also passed IMEI certification. This approval validates a planned launch in India.

Unfortunately, the Poco M3 Pro 5G is only expected to be powered by a MediaTek CPU, according to the reports. None of them have divulged the SoC's exact name, and it's unclear if this device will have a Dimensity or Helio-branded processor. But considering its predecessor, i.e, the Poco M3 Pro 5G offers a Dimensity SoC, we might see an upgraded processor from the same series.

One of the most important concerns is if the Poco M4 Pro 5G will be a rebranded Redmi device. Poco has a history of rebranding Redmi devices and introducing them to the market with fresh skins. The Poco M3 Pro 5G was just a repackaged Redmi Note 10 with a new look. While the information on the Poco M4 Pro 5G's specs is scarce, the possibility of it being a rebadged smartphone cannot be ruled out.
