Kerala: Court acquitted 3 accused in alleged suicide case of 2 minors in Palakkad

The POCSO court Kerala has acquitted three accused in the alleged suicide case of two Palakkad minors citing lack of evidence. In January 2017, a 13-year-old minor was found hanging inside his house. Two months later, his nine-year-old sister committed suicide.

If we go through this matter closely, then a court in Kerala has acquitted three accused in the death and sexual harassment case of two minor girls. Both the girls were aged 13 and 9 when they committed sucide. In January 2017 in Vallair area of Palakkad district, a girl was found to be a girl in a home, while two months later another young girl allegedly committed suicide. The postmortem report revealed that the girl was sexually assaulted. The court has set the accused free due to lack of sufficient evidence.
