Bhopal: Digvijay Singh and other leaders, who arrived in Bengaluru on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, in the midst of political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh, have been released from precautionary custody. Whereupon he has reached the commissioner's office. He is also accompanied by Karnataka Congress President DK Shivkumar and Madhya Pradesh Congress leader Sajjan Singh Verma. It is also being said that earlier Digvijay said, "I don't know where I am being taken. I should be allowed to meet my MLAs. I am a law-abiding citizen. The government will also save and bring back the legislators as well."

According to the information received, after reaching Bangalore, Digvijay Singh sat on a protest near Ramda Hotel. There are 21 Congress MLAs in this hotel. The police then took them into custody as a precautionary measure and were taken to the Amritahalli police station in Bangalore. Digvijay sat on a hunger strike at the police station. Regarding this, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya taunted Digvijay and tweeted, 'Drama in Bengaluru !!! It is our good fortune that he is in honorable politics. If he were in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan would have beaten him too!"

Karnataka Congress President DK Shivkumar said that Digvijay Singh has come to meet the party MLAs. An MLA contacted him via telephone and demanded to be removed from here.
