The central government has summoned a report from the Punjab government regarding the 30 thousand quintal paddy seed scam. After the report comes, the central government will take necessary action in this regard. This was stated by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Saturday during video conferencing during a conversation with journalists of Punjab.

In his statement, he said that he has collected information about the seed scam at a personal level and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal has also asked him to conduct a comprehensive investigation by giving information about this scam through a letter. Tomar said that immediately after Harsimrat's letter, a report has been summoned by the Center by writing a letter to the Punjab government. He also said that after getting the report from the Punjab government, if necessary, the central government will take action in this matter.
In a video press conference held under the chairmanship of BJP state president Ashwani Sharma, Tomar gave this ordinance, giving information about the 'One India, One Agricultural Market' project of the Central Government, now farmers are getting their crops. They have got the right to sell anywhere they wish and now they will get fair price for their crop. The Agriculture Minister said that this step of the Modi government has been formed with the objective of creating a seamless national market for farmers to sell their produce, protect them from risk and improve their earnings and for better agricultural investment. In this ordinance, farmers have been allowed to trade freely. Tomar said that the MSP and Mandation will continue as before. Tomar called upon the farmers of Punjab not to get into any kind of confusion and said that some political people are engaged in spreading confusion among the farmers about the ordinance passed by the Modi government.
