Anti-national statement of student Sharjeel Imam has come out. Sharjeel has given this statement in Jawaharlal Nehru University. All political parties want strong action against him. Sharjeel's father Akbar Imam, a native of Jehanabad in Bihar, was a leader of the ruling Janata Dal United and his brother is believed to be close to former MP Arun Kumar from Jehanabad. However, JDU has also demanded action against him.

Recently, it is known that Sharjeel Imam in his speech in Aligarh Muslim University had talked about separating Assam from the rest of India. He said that it is our responsibility to cut Assam. After this, FIRs were registered against him in Aligarh and Assam in several serious charges including sedition and spreading disharmony on the basis of religion. At present, he has gone underground and the police are continuously raiding to arrest him. His last location was found in Patna.

He said that this has also brought disrepute to the peaceful movement. Party spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan also demanded strict action on Sharjeel. He said that the Bihar government will help the Central Government in this. Singh said that a conspiracy cannot be perpetrated against the unity and integrity of the country. He said that Mohammad Ali Jinnah had also demanded to separate Assam from the country. He accused elements like Sharjeel of getting money and support from anti-India forces. Commenting on the movement of Shaheen Bagh also said that the people there want that India should not remain secular. BJP's Rakesh Sinha also said that Jinnah also wanted to include Assam in Pakistan.
