Khammam Municipal Corporation (KMC) polling to be conducted Today on April 30. For this all preparation has been done.  Let us share here that 2.88 voter will case their vote to select their party.  

District Collector RV Karnan Speaking to the media persons on the occasion said that  a total of 2,88,646 voters would cast their vote to elect the candidates contesting in 60 municipal divisions of the KMC. There are 139291 female voters and 149309 and 46 others. It is to be noted that the polling will commence in a total of 377 polling stations, including one auxiliary polling station, have been set up in 60 wards in the city. Polling in 65 polling stations would be monitored through video coverage while 56 polling stations to be monitored through live webcasting.

However it is to be noted that all precautions have been taken to ensure safety of the polling staff strictly following the covid-19 guidelines issued by the State Election Commission (SEC). In all, 2274 polling personnel have been deployed to conduct the elections in a smooth and fair manner. To be noted that voting counting will be commenced on May 2 and 3,
