New Delhi: It has just been learned that the air was poisonous for the third consecutive day in Delhi-NCR on Sunday. Due to slowing wind speed, the air quality index in Noida and Ghaziabad was severe and very poor in Delhi, Greater Noida and Gurugram. The Meteorological Department says that the winds will remain sluggish on Monday as well. It is not expected to improve air quality.
On the other hand, if we talk about the sources, according to the data of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), wind speed in Delhi-NCR remains around 5 km per hour. Due to this, pollution in Delhi's air has become stable. Noida was the worst wind in NCR. AQI 414 recorded here. Ghaziabad's index stood at 413 at number two. AQI of Delhi, Greater Noida and Gurugram was 391, 395 and 362.
In a report, the Meteorological Department says that there will be no significant change in the speed of wind on Monday also. This will keep pollution levels more or less constant. On December 10, the wind speed will increase slightly. This may cause a slight drop in pollution level. On December 11, due to the effect of western disturbance, the speed of the wind will speed up. With this, CPCB is forecasting a fall in pollution level. On the other hand, 'Safar' has advised the people of Delhi-NCR not to work long or with extreme labor. He has asked people to rest in the midst of work. Also, people with asthma are advised to take extreme caution.
