Shimla: Poor children studying in government schools of Himachal Pradesh will be provided smartphones for online studies. It will be started from Kullu, the home district of Education Minister Govind Thakur with the help of teacher organizations. Work will also have to be done on the plan for other cities of the state this coming week. Deputy director Kullu has asked to give mobile to a poor child on his behalf as well under this planning. After a recent reshuffle in the cabinet, Cabinet Minister Govind Thakur has been given the responsibility of the Education Department.

After getting the responsibility of the highest staff in the state, the teacher organizations of Kullu city have proposed to give smartphones to the education minister in the last few days to continue online education for all children in schools. Praising the proposal, the Education Minister has given permission to search for truly poor children and give them a call.

Teacher organizations of Kullu have started searching for poor children. If the effort is successful, its possibilities will be explored in other cities of the state. COVID-19 government is trying for online education of all children in government schools in the midst of crisis. Poor children who do not have smartphones available, the notes are being delivered at home. Now, with the help of teacher organizations, poor children will be searched and mobile phones will be made available to them, so that they can also study online. And this support from teacher organizations is truly a commendable compliment.
