Rana Daggubati, who starred in Baahubali, wrote an emotional email to his father, Daggubati Suresh Babu, a notable film producer, to wish him a happy birthday. The actor shared a vintage snapshot of the father-son combo having an infectious laugh on his Instagram account. In this old picture, the two are dressed nicely in suits.. The post was accompanied with the note, “Happy birthday Mufasa. I am only a reflection :) #hbdsureshdaggubati.” The mutual love and respect Rana Daggubati shares with his father is palpable.
On the work front, Rana Daggubati will next feature in Bheemla Nayak with Megastar Pawan Kalyan. The film is a remake of Sachy's 2020 Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum, directed by Chandra Sagar. In contrast to Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan, Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon play key roles in the film. The film's soundtrack was created by S Thaman, and the cinematography was handled by Ravi K. Chandran. Bheemla Nayak will be released in theatres on February 25, 2022, and is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments.
The actor will also appear in Madai Thiranthu, a historical drama directed by Sathyasiva. Regina Cassandra, Sathyaraj, and Nassar will also star in Rana Daggubati's newest. The unfinished film, produced by S. N. Rajarajan of K Production, has been delayed since 2019 due to conflicts between the producer and the lead actor, but it is currently set for a new year release on December 31, 2021.
