Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given several instructions during the review meeting of the Department of Higher Education held recently in the ministry. He has given instructions to conduct practical classes in colleges from January 1, 2021. He also said, 'Keeping in mind the guide-line of Covid-19, the batch scheduled classes should be started for three days by following social distance with 50% capacity'.

The Chief Minister also said that students desirous of pursuing higher education should be provided better facilities. He said, 'vocational education should be promoted so that the students can get employment and establish their business easily'. He further said that the process of developing the infrastructure of 200 government colleges should be started so that students can get facilities like virtual learning and smart classroom. It will be considered to merge 51 government colleges with less than 100 students in the nearest big colleges.

He further said that it is the responsibility of the government to control 37 private universities. For non-buildings institute, a building will be taken for rent.
