New Delhi: Increase in cases of corona infection is being recorded once again in the country. Meanwhile, vaccination work against corona is going on at a rapid pace, while the government on Wednesday decided that people over 60 years of age and above 45 years of age with the other disease will be given anti-Coronavirus vaccine free from 1 March at government centers.

They can also get vaccinated at private clinics and centers by paying a fee. This vaccine will be installed at 10,000 government centers and 20 thousand private centers across the country. The said decision was taken in the meeting of the Union Cabinet held on Wednesday under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. After the meeting, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has given information about the decision. Asked if people would have the option to choose vaccines from Covishield or Covaxin, the Union Minister replied that India has approved two vaccines and both the vaccines are effective and have proven efficacy.

When asked if the Prime Minister's Union Ministers will also be vaccinated at the stage of applying vaccine to those above 60 years of age, Javadekar said that those who want to get vaccinated, can get it from the campaign started from March 1.
