The visually impaired girl from Ulhasnagar cracked IAS exam this year. Pranjal Patil, secured a rank 773.
At the age of six, the Ulhasnagar girl lost her vision completely, but, she still prepared her mind to become an IAS officer at her childhood.
"I love to read and the entire process of academics excites me. I studied on my own and took test series from ALS academy in Delhi," Pranjal Patil said.
She further added, "It is not easy to crack the IAS in the first attempt, but Patil did it. "There were times when I was marred with doubts and disbelief regarding my ambition that. I think that when you have doubts, then only you get motivated."
The girl from Ulhasnagar did her graduation in Political Science from Mumbai's St. Xavier's College and Master of Arts in International relations from Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
