Lucknow: For AIMIM chief and Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi, a piece of very bad news is coming out from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the District and Metropolitan Committees have announced their collective resignation today. It is being told that this announcement has been made against the silence of the party office bearers at the state and national level after AIMIM general secretary Mohammad Shah Alam became accused in the Prayagraj violence (Atala case).

Party's district general secretary Faisal Warsi alleged that the party's Purvanchal and state-level leaders were urged several times to raise their voice in the matter but they did not pay heed to it. Warsi claims that district president Shah Alam is completely innocent in the Atala case. He has been made an accused in this case unnecessarily. He was framed for political reasons. According to Warsi, Shah Alam has always been appealing to the people for peace and harmony. There is anger among the office bearers against the silence of the state office bearers over the Prayagraj district president. In this connection, the office bearers of the district and the metropolis have collectively decided to resign.

It is being told that around 250 people along with the office bearers of both the committees will resign en masse at the Nagar office at Darashah Ajmal at 4 pm today. However, an office-bearer of the metropolitan unit of AIMIM said that he is still hopeful that the party's national president Asaduddin Owaisi will take cognizance of the entire matter. Let us know that AIMIM's general secretary Shah Alam is accused of having a role in the Atala violence. Recently, the Allahabad High Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea.
