Lucknow: Havoc of speed has been witnessed once again in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Here, while trying to save the motorcyclist, the speeding bus overturned on the road. Two schoolchildren lost their lives in this accident. Whereas, 35 others were injured. As per reports, the bus was carrying children from a school in Jaunpur for a tour in Prayagraj. The incident is of the Handia police station area on Saturday (December 17) morning. As soon as this accident happened, the people present there informed the police. 

As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and took the injured people to the hospital. Whereas, the bodies of the dead have been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. At present, the treatment of the injured is going on in the hospital. At the same time, the police registered a case and started an investigation. On the other hand, Ganganagar DCP Abhishek Aggarwal told that a private bus from Jaunpur's Shrimati Kanti Devi Janata Vidyalaya Parmanpur was coming for a tour to Prayagraj with school students and staff. A total of 83 people including 75 children and 8 school staff were present in this bus. The speed of the bus was very high. When the bus reached the highway in Handia, the driver suddenly lost control of the bus due to high speed. The bike was moving ahead. In order to save him, the speeding bus overturned in the middle of the road.

As soon as the accident happened, there was panic on the spot. In this accident, 2 children died on the spot. Whereas, 35 people were injured. The people present there informed the police and the injured were rushed to the hospital. The DCP said that the deceased students have been identified as Ankit and Anurag. The families of both have been informed. After the post-mortem, the dead bodies will be handed over to the relatives.
