Panaji: A private hospital in North Goa will start the process of human test of a possible coronavirus vaccine on Monday. Redkar Hospital is in Pernem taluka of North Goa. It is one of the twelve institutes listed by India Biotech International Limited for human tests of covaxine.

Dhananjay Lad, who is doing tests at Redkar Hospital, said, 'We will select 10 volunteers from Goa, whose swab samples will be sent to Delhi before starting the actual test on them. He further said, 'We are not selecting surprise. We are checking their eligibility for the first tests. After the report from Delhi, we will do the test. '

If we talk about corona cases in the country, the total cases of infection have crossed 11 lakh. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, in the last twenty-four hours, 40,425 new cases of corona have come out, which is a new record. During this time 681 people have lost their lives. Now the total figure of corona infects in India has increased to 11,18,043. Of these, 7,00,087 people have recovered while 27,497 have lost their lives. At present, the number of active cases in India is 3,90,459, that is, so many patients have not been cured yet.
