New Delhi: The President of the country Ramnath Kovind has presented an example to the country which is rarely seen. President Kovind has donated the money he saved by cutting his and other expenses of Rashtrapati Bhavan to the military hospital. So that doctors and medical staff can get help in the war with Corona epidemic.

President Ram Nath Kovind today gave a check of Rs 20 lakh to the Army Research and Referral Hospital, Delhi, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The President has donated this to the hospital to purchase medical equipment to help warriors fighting the Corona epidemic. Kovind had announced on May 14 to cut his expenses and the expenses of Rashtrapati Bhavan by 20% after the corona epidemic started.

Not only this, the plan to buy limousine cars for the President was also scrapped. Along with this, Kovind also announced to cut expenses on food and guests at ceremonies and donate his salary to the PM Cares Fund and also cut his salary by 30% per month for the next one year.
