Leh: There was an open conflict with China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. After this, China is now constructing a road along the border with Himachal Pradesh amid efforts to reduce tension. Kunnu Charang in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh is a village adjacent to the last border. Villagers of Kunnu Charang, after performing Reiki in the Chinese area, have claimed that in the last two months, China has constructed about 20 km of the border road.

Villagers of Kunnu Charang, the last village in the Morang Valley region, claim that China is building a road towards Khemkulla Pass at a high speed in the dark of night. Drones are also coming from China at night. People have expressed the possibility of the road construction being done in China in No Mains Land. Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kinnaur Saju Ram Rana confirmed the sighting of drones in the border villages. Regarding road construction, he said that such a long road cannot be completed in such a short time.

The SP said that the villagers had given information about this. Nothing like this is happening inside the Indian border. No need to panic. The head of Kunnu Charang village said that some villagers had gone to Khemkulla and after coming to Reiki, they informed about the construction of the road across the border.
