President Ram Nath Kovind to visit Ayodhya in August

New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind is likely to visit Ramlala in Ayodhya next August. The president's expected schedule is proposed from August 27 to 29. He will arrive at Amausi Havasi Airport by special plane on August 27. He will lay the foundation stone of Ayush University in Gorakhpur on August 28. He will inaugurate the hospital building at Guru Gorakshanath University.

President Kovind is said to be likely to travel from Lucknow to Ayodhya by presidential train in August. Ram Nath Kovind will reach Ramnagari Ayodhya by presidential train on August 29. Railways have started preparations for the same. However, this is yet to be officially confirmed by the Railways. It may be recalled that on June 25, President Ram Nath Kovind had reached Kanpur from Delhi's Safdarjung by presidential train. He had reached his native village.

He had returned to Lucknow from Kanpur by presidential train after meeting his family and close ones here. After reaching his village, His Excellency Kovind tweeted, "Wherever I live, the fragrance of the soil of my village and the memories of the inhabitants of my village are always present in my heart. For me, parunkh is not just a village, it is my motherland, from where I have always been inspired to serve the country."
