NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind will address a joint session of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha at the Central Hall of Parliament on Thursday. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today invited MPs of both the Houses for dinner with the meeting. The banquet will be held at Asoka Hotel.

According to the information, the President will present the future plans and agenda of the government to the country in his address. The Rajya Sabha session will also begin from Thursday. It will continue till 26th of July. The Lok Sabha session has begun on the 17th of this month. According to the secretariat, there will also be a meeting of the GST Council for the budget session. Modi is meeting Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

After being elected unopposed, Modi himself took Birla to the chair. According to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, 40 parties were invited for the meeting. Out of this, 21 party presidents attended the meeting. The three parties sent their views on the issue in writing. Modi will set up a committee to suggest the issue.
