Muzaffarpur: The first phase of voting for the Bihar assembly elections 2020 is going on today. The campaigning for the second phase of voting is also being seen at the peak. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Darbhanga in this order today and addressed the meeting. He reached the Raj Maidan Sabha venue of Darbhanga at 11:15 am and thereafter he began to address. In his address, he said, 'Atalji started the work of Mahasetu when Nitishji was the Railway Minister in 2003. After the formation of the NDA government at the Center, the work of Kosi Mahasetu progressed manifold. This reduced the distance of 300 km from 20 to 22 km. Such facilities benefit everyone. Produces means of employment. People here have to vote for similar works. The next phase of Bihar's development is self-sufficient Bihar. Samastipur is a centre for research in agriculture. The dreams that Karpoori Thakur dreamed of are now being fulfilled. Many projects involving fodder for fish production are being started. If crores are invested then new jobs will start. Whatever be the milk, vegetable, fish, there will be employment related to the finest produce of Bihar. Cold storages are being built in the villages. One lakh crore is being invested in villages. Farmers are being freed from middlemen. '

He also said, 'Earlier, every house has been provided with tap water. Bihar will soon join such states, where the water will reach through pipes. All the disease related to water is resolved now. This track record of the NDA will assure the people. NDA has sketched out the development. It is the resolve of self-sufficient Bihar.' He added in Hindi, 'Mithila Bhoomi Ke Naman Kari Che'. He continued saying, "The Chief Minister of Bihar, my friend, my brother Nitish Kumar will surely get your blessings. I hope. All of you have come to bless me from Madhubani, Samastipur, thank you."

He further said, 'You are also connected with digital. I salute your resolve. The first phase of voting is going on today. Take care to avoid corona where voting is being held. Many people have become corona infected. I am worried about their health. May they get well soon, I pray.' In this way, he ended his address. Now PM Narendra Modi leave for Tirhut.
