New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the death of people due to lightning in different parts of Rajasthan. Let us tell you that 18 people including seven children have died in separate incidents of lightning in Jaipur, Jhalawar and Dholpur districts last Sunday. In this case, the police have informed that "21 persons including six children were also injured in the incidents in different villages of the state.''

PM Modi tweeted this Monday morning. In this tweet, he wrote, "Many people have lost their lives due to lightning in some parts of Rajasthan. It has caused a great deal of pain. I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased." You must be aware that 11 people were killed and eight others injured when lightning struck near Amer Fort in a major tragedy in the capital Jaipur. Most of the deceased were reportedly youths who had gone to a hill near the fort to enjoy the pleasant weather. Some of them were taking selfies at the watch tower while many were present on the hill. When lightning struck late in the evening, people on the watch tower fell. In the case, Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava said, "11 people were killed and eight others injured in an aerial lightning incident."

He said relief and rescue operations are on for the injured. In this case, Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma rushed to Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Hospital to seek treatment for the injured in the lightning accident in Amer. Kanwas police officer of Jhalawar district said, "Radhe Banjara alias Bawla (12), Pukhraj Banjara (16), Vikram (16) and his brother Akhraj (13) were killed on the spot when lightning struck Garda village with their animals under a tree. One cow and about 10 goats were also killed in the incident." At the same time, the police officer said, "The injured children Rahul, Vikram, Rakesh and Mansingh and Phoolibai have been admitted to a hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger."
