In a major setback to Bholu, accused of killing an innocent Prince in a private school in Gurugram, Haryana, the Punjab Haryana High Court rejected his bail plea. The court also rejected the argument given by Bholu that he was not being kept in the right environment due to which his health was deteriorating.

7-year-old Prince was murdered in a school in Gurugram. The conductor of the school bus was accused. After this, the investigation came to the CBI and the CBI made Bholu an accused. Bholu's petition said that his bail should be heard as an adult. Also, the Supreme Court, while granting his application, ordered the petition to be heard as an adult. In February 2020, the Supreme Court ordered the High Court to make a decision on Bholu's bail as soon as possible. The High Court rejected Bholu's plea and said that he could not be given the benefit of bail. According to the Medical Board, Bholu is healthy and his weight is increasing. Therefore, the High Court rejected his plea for deteriorating health.

Apart from this, accepting the pleas of the complainant side and CBI, the High Court admitted that if the benefit of bail was given, then some witnesses, who are currently children, can be pressurized. It was argued on behalf of the complainant that the relatives of the accused are very influential people and due to this, the conductor was made the accused instead of Bholu. The family of the accused had also pleaded in the court that the real name of the accused and the deceased is being published in the media. This shows the identity of the accused. The court, while disposing of his plea, named the deceased as Prince and the accused as Bholu.
